Familiarity with classical art is not a prerequisite to enjoy Abhinava’s shows. Our universal approach and skilful communication through music, dance and language coupled with our unique presentation techniques makes the Abhinava experience accessible and enjoyable to all.

MADANOTHSAVA !
Revival of the bygone community festival to welcome the spring. A 1600 year old tradition brought into light and celebrated with the same rigour and vibrance. This was another brain-child of Shatavadhaani Dr R Ganesh's which was brought into action by Abhinava Dance Company in February 22nd 2020 at Ramanjaneya Gudda, Bangalore.
The festival featured various artists for the whole day connecting with people. This included Indian Classical Vocals, Instrumental Compositions, Sand Art, various forms of Indian Classical dance, Folk Art, Sanskrit Discussion Forums and more.
Abhinava also featured its new home productions : Madananjali and Pramadvane, which were inspired by the spring welcoming Madana. Apart from the stunning costumes, props and the extraordinary music composed by Sri Praveen D Rao, these featured new movements called "Charchari" which was an innovation in itself.
All in all it was a carnival filled with joy, laughter, beauty, colors & culture
Nirupama and Rajendra shared their ideas of explorations of dance through exciting demonstrations, vocal recitation and video excerpts of their work at TED talks.
The Orion Mall at Bangalore was brimming with 3000 happy faces as the Abhinava Dance Company presented an open house sharing of dance rehearsals.
King of Kathak - Pandit. Birju Maharaj along with Saswathi Sen conducted a unique workshop for dancers at ADC.
Nirupama & Rajendra along with the ensemble presented a special performance " Samarpan" featuring two styles of classical dance - Bharathanatyam & Kathak for The Ambassador of United States of America Nancy Powell along with the US Consul General Jennifer McIntyre, to mark the American Independence Celebrations.
ADC had the greatest privilege to have the Legendary Guru- Dr.Maya Rao fondly addressed as Maya didi share her experiences of Abhinaya with the students of Abhinava. She brought the delicate nuances of Virahothkantitha & Vasakasajjika Nayika through two beautiful Tumris that she made students sing & dance.
Smt.Rama Bharadhwaj presented 'Mitra' a solo Bharathanatyam concert at Abhinava dance company.
Shri.Mantap Prabhakar Upadhya presented 'Moha Menake' a Yakshagana concert along with his team during Upasana 2016.
ADC has offered over 300 concerts at National & International conferences, launch events, award ceremonies and other celebrations of various corporate houses.

Yes. We perform at conferences, launch events, award ceremonies, annual celebrations & for high profile delegations.
2. Our audiences are not familiar with classical dance. In such case, what would you showcase for us?

3. How many artists are in your team?
Our performances may include anywhere between 2 - 50 dancers who are a part of our shows. It will also depend on the nature and scale of the performance and the stage dimension.
4. Do you perform while F&B is served at an event?
No. We do not perform during the service of F & B.
