Daughter of renowned Bharatanatyam exponent guru Shri Ashok Kumar, she began her first step in Indian classical dance with Bharatanatyam.
She further formally initiated into the dance form Kathak under world renowned kathak exponents Guru Smt Nirupama Rajendra and Shri TD Rajendra.
She is a graded artist of the national Doordarshan and is also the recipient of the scholarship from the CCRT government of India, she aspires to reach great heights and has also devoted herself completely to art.
