Shakuntala is a love story from the Sanskrit Classic “Abhijnana Sakunthala” written by the poet Kalidasa. The beautiful maiden Shakunthala who loves nature, treats all the flowers & animals with tender emotions and falls in love with King Dushyanta.
She chooses him as her bridegroom and marries him, with nature as the witness. This dance choreography features romance as the primary emotion and is presented as a musical entertainer with an engaging conversation between a bee and a bunch of flowers.
