Achaaryaa (आचार्या)
Sanchita Shenoy has been training in Bharatanrityam and Kathak at Abhinava Dance School, Bengaluru, under the guidance of Gurus Smt. Nirupama Rajendra and Sri T. D. Rajendra for the past 12 years.
To further deepen her understanding of classical dance, she has undergone structured training in the 108 Karanas reconstructed by Padma Vibhushan Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam and the Desi Marga Adavu vocabulary developed by her Guru, Smt. Nirupama Rajendra. She has also completed a course on the Natyashastra under scholar Sri Arjun Bharadwaj.
Sanchita has performed in numerous productions of Abhinava Dance Company at prestigious venues across India. She has also toured internationally with the company across the USA and Canada, and has presented solo Bharatanrityam and Kathak performances at festivals and venues across India.
