Achaaryaa (आचार्या)
Rohini hails from an illustrious family of storytellers and artists which naturally led her to pursue Indian classical art forms. Trained in the art form of Kathak for over 15 years under the guidance of Smt.Nirupama and Sri. Rajendra at Abhinava Dance Company she takes the lead role in company productions and has travelled with the Dance Company on various National and International tours. She has undergone extensive training in the techniques of Natyashastra which has helped her hone her skills. She has rendered several solo performances at prestigious platforms and is a faculty at Abhinava Dance Company. In 2015, she was a part of a multi-city tour in Russia organised by ICCR under the creative leadership of Guru Padma Bhushan Kumudini Lakhia. She has attended master classes with renowned Gurus like Dr.Maya Rao, Padma Bhushan Kumudini Lakhia and Pt. Birju Maharaj at Abhinava Dance Company. She is a graded artist of regional television. Rohini is also a performance curator at the Karnataka Engineers Academy and holds a BA Honors Degree in Economics.
