Achaaryaa (आचार्या)
Pooja Arya is a young and passionate Kathak classical dancer has learnt Kathak for over 15 years under the tutelage of gurus Smt. Nirupama and Shri. Rajendra at Abhinava Dance Company.
She has been inclined towards dance since the age of 5 and formally started learning Kathak at Abhinava Dance School at the age of 8. She holds in Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) from Christ University and post - graduation from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. She currently works as the Event & Social Media head at Transcend Group of Institutions.
Being a committed pursuer of dance, she is an integral part of ADC family. Pooja has performed in various productions of Abhinava Dance Company. Pooja has completed her Rangmanchpravesh in the month January 2021.
She has been a part of workshops of revered Gurus such as Dr.Padma Subramanium, Dr.Maya Rao, Guru Kumudini Lakhia organized by Abhinava Dance Company and has received quality exposure nationally by being a part of Abhinava Dance Company’s productions in prestigious events.
As the lead of Yuva Abhinava, the Youth can wing of Abhinava Dance Company, Pooja has performed for Brahma Kumaris, Nrityolasa and other corporate events.
Pooja firmly believes that dance is her way of expressing her emotions of life.
