Samaagama, juxtaposes two styles of Indian classical music - the Hindustani from North India and Carnatic from South India to which the dancers weave aesthetic movement patterns in Bharatanatyam and Kathak dance styles.
The choreography showcases the parallels and the contrasts of the two dance styles and comes to a point of convergence with Margi, the root of all dance styles as mentioned in Natyashastra.
