Abhinava Dance Company Presents. "Rama Katha Vismaya" - A Disney style fantasy musical, which narrates the story of Rama through a child's imagination.
This unique creative venture, represented at the scale of a Broadway opera,
features a new and entertaining style of presentation that comes alive through the animated imagination of a child's mind. The story of Ram is told to child Krishna by mother Yashoda as a bedtime story. Rama Katha Vismaya is a fantasy experience for kids filled with fun, intelligence, and artistic skills.
Musically this symphony brings together an orchestra of more than 50 instruments inspired from classical and theatrical traditions. Several props and accessories, sourced from rural artisans from all over India are used in the production. A refreshing treatment to dance also reveals the application of Desi (Kathak, Bharatanatyam) and Margi movement vocabularies from Natyashastra.
