Achaaryaa (आचार्या)
Meghana has been training in the classical art forms of Kathak and Bharatanrityam under the tutelage of Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardees, Gurus Smt. Nirupama Rajendra and Shri T. D. Rajendra at Abhinava Dance Company, Bengaluru. She has successfully completed the Bharatanatyam Senior Examination conducted by the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB).
To enhance her knowledge in dance, she has undergone structured training in the 108 Karanas — the movement vocabulary described in the Natyashastra and reconstructed by Padma Vibhushan Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam — under the able guidance of Guru Smt. Nirupama Rajendra.
Meghana has also attended advanced Kathak workshops conducted by eminent gurus such as Padma Vibhushan Guru Kumudini Lakhia, Guru Subhash Chandra, and Gurus Ishira Parikh and Maulik Shah at Abhinava Dance Company. Meghana has performed in various productions of Abhinava Dance Company and currently works as a faculty at Abhinava Dance School.
