Achaaryaa (आचार्या)
Apoorva B Rao has been training in the classical art form, Kathak for the past 11 years under the tutelage of Gurus Smt. Nirupama Rajendra and Sri T D Rajendra at Abhinava Dance School, and Bharatanatyam for the past 12 years under Dr. Dwaritha Viswanatha, at Nirmiti, an abode of arts and culture. To enhance her knowledge in dance, she has undergone structured training in Karanas under the able guidance of her Guru Smt. Nirupama Rajendra.
She has been part of workshops conducted by Pandit Birju Maharaj and Guru Kumudini Lakhia at Abhinava Dance Company.
Apoorva has performed in various productions of Abhinava Dance Company and currently works as a faculty at Abhinava Dance School.
